-->If you are recording professional development (PD) hours, you will need a Michigan Online Educator Certification System (MOECS) account. In order to obtain a MOECS user name and password, you must first register with the Michigan Educational Information System (MEIS). You will then be issued a MOECS user name and password which will allow you to access the state website to record district provided professional development (DPPD) hours.

-->HPS will reimburse your for your certification fees. To obtain reimbursement, print the page from the MDE website that shows that a certificate renewal fee has been paid (currently $160). Share this document with LeeAnne Archer in personnel, and request reimbursement. She will then select the proper account, send your request to payroll, and the reimbursement should appear in your next check as a miscellaneous tax-free payment.
